The pedigree of Polones Oginskogo is based on the intersection breeding lines of Pifagoraz and Pilger.
His sire Zapros was an S class show jumping horse. In 1997 he was sold to Germany and got a license of Trakenner Union.
Zapros is one of the three sons of fabulous Pepel. Pepel and Elena Petushkova were the world champions in dressage in 1970, the winners of the XIX and XX Olympic Games, and the World Championships medalist in 1975.
His dam is Polnoch. The dam sire Ogon was used extensively in Trakehner horse breeding. The Ogon’s sire Gret was an M class show jumping horse, and all his sons were very successful in the sport.
Gret’s sire Etud was a champion of USSR and multiple winner of major tournaments in show jumping.
The second line sire Paket was a famous eventing stalion, he was competing on the Olympic Games in Mexico in 1968.
In 2007 Polonez became the reserve champion on the II National Kerung in «New Century» Equestrian Center and got a license for breeding in Russia (№ 78-07-07).
